Australia Post’s latest mail sorting facility consists of 46,955m2 of warehouse and 1,564m2 of administration space plus 4,561m2 of mezzanine levels and an observation room covering just over 13 acres.
Spaceframe Buildings’ delivered a full design and construct concept. Our inhouse team provided the civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire design services through to construction and handover.
One of the many features was the construction of an observation path throughout the warehouse to enable viewing of all the sorting machines and equipment from above.
Spaceframe collaborated with Australia Post to provide a staged handover process. This enabled Australia Post to commence implementation of their complex equipment into the warehouse, ensuring an immediate start to their facility on Day 1.
