The Spaceframe Buildings team were honoured to join Governor of Queensland and LifeFlight patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young, AC PSM; LifeFlight supporter and philanthropist Clive Berghofer, and other esteemed guests to witness the official Grand Opening of the LifeFlight Clive Berghofer Maintenance Centre.

Due to recent growth, this hangar now replaces LifeFlight’s former maintenance facility built in the 1940’s. Previously accommodating up to four helicopters at a time, the LifeFlight Clive Berghofer Maintenance Centre now has the capacity to house nine helicopters and one jet at the same time.
This is the largest hangar complex built at Archerfield Airport, and we thank our partners, Archerfield Airport, for trusting us with such an important project.
