Building A was constructed for an international logistics and transportation company, operating as a key distribution hub for South-East Queensland. The construction of the Helensvale Branch needed to align with the tenants’ high standards and existing building specifications used on their facilities across the world. For the Spaceframe project team, this meant implementing new world class features – including but not limited to a nationwide monitoring system that records the site’s water, power, data, and solar usage. To help the client meet their own sustainability targets, the project team needed to place greater focus and care on how the building was designed and thus constructed, to ensure the most sustainable outcome.

Constructing both buildings simultaneously, this was a full Design and Construct project, undertaking everything from the services design (including structural, hydraulic, and mechanical services), through to complete turnkey construction and final handover. The site itself provided a few challenges throughout the planning and construction stages, however, due to the combined expertise of the Spaceframe project team, the Millaroo Drive project was able to continue as programmed and delivered to the client as specified.
