November is a big fundraising month for the Spaceframe Team, and this year is no different.
We’re proud to support two amazing organisations supporting women – Share the Dignity and Broken Ballerina Inc.
Broken Ballerina Inc. are a domestic and family violence support organisation based in Mackay. A contribution of $5000 has been put towards the creation of essential relief bags, used to purchase fuel cards, food vouchers, accommodation, and travel tickets, in order to help help women and children escape dangerous situations and start anew.
The Spaceframe team are also taking part in the ‘It’s in the Bag’ campaign by Share the Dignity – an annual campaign running from November 15th to December 1st, 2024.
Share the Dignity is a national charity based across the bridge in Virginia, working to ensure women, girls, and those who menstruate don’t face the indignity of period poverty when fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, or doing it tough.
Each Christmas they collect bags filled with essential items through ‘It’s in the Bag’ to ensure the people they support receive a little bit of love and hope each Christmas.
Spaceframe have committed to 40 bags – 20 adult and 20 teen – filled with all the essential items and a few extra special items for someone in need. Each bag has the 7 essential items: shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, period products, and a roll-on deodorant.
We are proud to announce that due to the amazing generosity of staff, 51 bags are now on their way to the women that need them most.
